My name is Lee, and I have been a portraitist for five years now.
Basically my job is drawing people's portrait on comission. In short:
->All my work is done with a very plain, simple HB pencil (you can't beat a very plain and simple HB pencil) and the amount of time I spend on one portrait depends entirely on the person's face and its characteristics. And when I say that, I mean that it can take from one hour...to two days, I really can't foresee that type of things until I'm actually doing it.
->You choose the format, size, picture, person, everything is entirely up to you. If you have some special preferences (eg: something you would like to include in the background) just let me know before I start and I'll see if I can make it (which is generally the case). I'm only there to make sure you get a nice work of art in the end.
->No fixed price yet I'm afraid (I had terrible experiences in the past in that domain) but to give you a rough idea, think around £25 for an A5, £35 for an A4, and £50 for an A3. I will usually discuss it afterwards with you depending on how difficult it 's been or how long it took me, so it's quite flexible altogether.
